About SAARESU
The Society on Advancement of Agricultural Research and Education for Social Upliftment (SAARESU) was conceived by a group of visionary scientists, academicians, and philanthropists from different parts of the country with a vision to promote scientific growth and sustainable development through innovation, education, and community empowerment. With this shared vision, the Society began its journey in 2023 with the objective of promoting advance research and education for betterment of the society.
In recognition of its objectives and structured functioning, the Society was officially registered under Section 60 and Rule 69 of the West Bengal Registration Rules, 1962, in accordance with the Trust Act, during the year 2025, bearing Registration No. 210400007. It is further recognized under Section 80G (Registration No. ABMTS1239CF20251) and Section 10AC (Registration No. ABMTS1239CE20251) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 — affirming its commitment to transparency, accountability, and charitable service. The formal registration marks a significant milestone in institutionalizing the Society's commitment to advancing scientific research, agricultural education, and social upliftment through evidence-based interventions.
Finally, the society aims to create a synergistic environment where research outputs are effectively translated into field applications, ensuring tangible benefits for farmers and rural communities through different charitable activities.
